Prey has a wonderful single player experience, even though it may be a tad short and easy. The single player campaign is honestly one of the best in a very long time. The graphics and many of the views are out of this world; literally, you aren’t on Earth! When gravity is altered, the physics really shine and the portals are just as great. The multiplayer offers a good amount of replay value to the game, but fails to offer anything innovative or new. Overall, despite its few weak points, Prey is a great game that is worth every penny. |
| Sweet to the Core |
| |
Gravity. Extremely realistic and plenty of ways to switch it around.
|
| | Portals. Well placed and fun to use.
| | | Graphics. Out of this world visuals.
| | | Fear Factor. Few scary spots here and there that add a lot to the overall feel of the game.
|
| Going Bad |
| | Multiplayer. Nothing innovative or new and only two gameplay types.
| | | Enemy A.I.. Although the alien race is supposedly extremely advanced, they definitely do not act like it!
| | | Easy. Nothing too hard or really challenging.
|
| Rotten to the Core |
| | Story. Cookie cutter story that runs dry after it gets started.
| | | Vehicles. We want actual vehicles, not jetpacks!

There is lot’s of blood, people being killed left and right, and plenty of bad words used; definitely not geared toward or suitable for young children. |
