Just like the original Xbox’s launch, the latest installation of the series is coming to the much-anticipated Xbox 360! Dead or Alive 4 takes the martial arts fighting games to the next level; bringing all the old features of its predecessors and adding a bunch of new features.

For the second time, Dead or Alive will be online, but this time, there will be new detailed scoreboards, clans, and a new interactive lobby area. From the lobby area, one can have voice and text chatting with other players on your friend list.

Some of your most favorite characters from the series have come back like Jann Lee, Kasumi, Ayane, Lei Fang, Christie, Brad Wong, etc., but now there are some new faces to kick someone’s butt, one of them is Lisa, her debut into the fighting ring. All of the characters will have your favorite costumes from DOA’s past, but will also have new variety to choose from. The story line now contains more about your favorite character…adding to the mystery that is Dead or Alive.

The stages have gotten a huge upgrade! Now stages are fully interactive; when you hit someone into an object, that object will break or fall over. If you hit someone in to a food cart, its contents will fly out! There even is a level were you fit in the middle of traffic were you can hit your opponent into a moving car or even push him into oncoming traffic for a massive blow to his health!

The fighting system has been overhauled and now includes a more complex countering system than ever before allowing more mastery and strategy of your most favorite characters. Along with the fighting system being upgraded, the graphics engine has been improved massively, but what would you expect since of all the power inside the Xbox 360.

If you enjoyed the old Dead or Alives or just a fan of fighting games, DOA4 is a “must have game” for the Xbox 360.
