Prey Update and Downloadable Content Coming Soon |

3d Realms announced today that Venom is working on an Xbox 360 patch for Prey which will address the network lag issues as well as fix several bugs.
3d Realms also announced that additional content will be available sometime soon over Xbox Live. The downloadable content will include four new multiplayer maps and six new player characters. The new maps will be much smaller than the currently available maps. This will allow much smaller game matches of 2-4 people, but can still support the maximum amount of players. The new characters include four female characters: Jen, Elhuit, Mother, and Becky (the blond victim you see occasionally on slabs in the single player Prey) and two hunter characters: Hunter and Elite Hunter.
A release date and pricing has is still to be determined for the downloadable content. The patch that fixes a few issues will be a free automatic update, which will be available sometime soon.
